For the moment, Dacia is keeping the finest details on the cab, but we know that soft-touch materials will appear for the first time in the Duster. Upgrade of the car’s infotainment, potentially allowing users to tap into the energy treatment of their smartphones via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. And there should also be improvements in the switchgear, to ban the basement feel of Duster.
In the cabin, the interior has been completely revised with a brand new dashboard layout, new materials and new technology. The new dashboard uses cleaner surfaces and repositioned air vents, as well as fresh instruments and a new steering wheel. The center console is ergonomically oriented towards the driver, with the infotainment system positioned higher. In high-end models, digital equipment for climate control is emerging, and Dacia says special attention has been paid to the materials on display. Elsewhere, Dacia has introduced new seats, and interior storage spaces have been revised to inject practicality.
The engine options in the Duster are 1.6-liter gasoline and 1.5-liter diesel. This is the diesel we recommend in the current Duster, for its low running costs and reasonable refinement.
