Speaking of changes, the i20 facelift will have new fascia before style. It will receive the new Cascade grille from the Hyundai family, new fog lights and more angular headlights. The side profile resembles the existing car, except for the new set of alloy wheels. The spotted model also has rear disc brakes, which is also likely to be offered in the India-spec model. He will continue to present his famous blackened C pillar. Other design changes may include new taillight clusters and a modified bumper.
Inside the cabin, the updated i20 is not expected to undergo structural changes and will continue to feature the same dashboard design. The high-end sedan should have a new infotainment system with advanced connectivity options.
Under the hood, the new 2018 Elite i20 is likely to be seen with the same engine options as on the current model – 1.2 liter petrol (MT), 1.4 liter petrol (AT) and 1 , 4 liter diesel (MT) engines. In addition, it is also expected that the company could also incorporate the latest 1.0 liter direct injection turbo petrol mill that is seen in the European spec i10 that can easily produce 120hp and 172Nm maximum torque.
