2018 Kia Sportage Facelift and Review

There is much to enjoy the 2018 Kia Sportage, very attractive and attractive, even if its fuel economy does not impress.

We like the driver’s comfortable seat, well thought out interior and good exterior visibility. Reflected features include cubbies and other storage spaces, as well as a 12-volt outlet and a USB port for rear passengers. The second row also receives heated outboard seats on some models, a good complement to the good head and legroom, and the fact that the seat backs are tilted. There is a panoramic panoramic roof available, but it cuts the room for maneuver. The cargo space does not depend on the Honda CR-V or Toyota RAV4, but its 30.7 cubic feet with the rear seat are still fine, and the floor can also be lowered.

You like the headlights mounted high or you do not, so you can do it. As for the rest of the stupid little Sportage, we love it very much. The lines are clean and crisp. The treatment of the “tiger-nose” grid works well here, both aesthetically and by establishing the Sportage as Kia from the first glance. The SX Turbo models have dual exhaust and LED fog lights. If you opt for AWD, you get a little more ride height compared to the front wheel models (FWD) and a single nose with a steeper approach angle.

With the Sportage, Kia offers consumers a choice of 4-cylinder engines: a 2.4-liter natural aspirated unit rated at 181 horsepower and, in the SX Turbo, a 2.0-liter turbo-4 that checks with 240 ch (237 hp with all-wheel drive). Nevertheless, the Sportage sends its power to the wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission and both engines are designed to operate on a regular unleaded fuel. The Sportage LX and EX settings give priority to quiet and comfortable driving, while SX Turbos has its own rear shock absorbers and a revised steering adjustment designed to stiffen things up.

The intermediate level EX cut combines an affordable price with many fancy features. Starting at $ 27,195, the EX is only a few thousand dollars more than the LX base (which starts at $ 24,395 for 2018), but includes additional and improved domestic appointments.
