2018 Opel Karl Rocks – Opel based in Europe will create an electrified version of its new compact car, which will replace the current hybrid electric hybrid car manufacturer.
According to a German magazine, the next BEV will be adapted from KARL just released by Opel and is expected to be available by the end of 2018. The General Motors subsidiary has not yet made an official announcement, leaving most ambiguous details. The 2018 Opel Karl Rocks EV should have an estimated range of 150 km (93 miles).
Despite consumer praise for Ampera’s style and encouragement by European governments for more EV, the Ampera has struggled to maintain sales since its launch in 2012. Ampera’s sales, based on the Chevrolet Volt, fell more than 50% last year, with only 934 sales in Europe.
