What was your first Ibiza? Maybe it was their first car, with which they made their first trip to and from college; it may still be the family car today. After four generations and more than 5.4 million cars sold, the new SEAT Ibiza is equipped with the latest technology, exceptional dynamics and an impressive improvement in interior space and comfort. The most iconic model of the Spanish brand has a brand new style with the same young, functional, sporty and comfortable spirit as ever. Its cool design reflects SEAT’s distinctive DNA, but with a sportier and more aggressive design, with more sculpted, accented, exciting and aerodynamic surfaces. The fifth generation of SEAT Ibiza made its public debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, pre-sales have already started and the first cars will be delivered in June 2017.
Naturally, we grabbed the keys of the most powerful version of the 148 hp, 1.5 liter “TSI Evo” in first-ever first-class high definition. It’s not yet homologated (it will be available later in the year) but expect a 0-62mph time in the high to high 7s based on the power-to-weight ratio.
The 2018 SEAT Ibiza was developed in Barcelona and is a decisive step in the future of SEAT. This means a brand new model while keeping, as always, its youthful spirit, dynamism, functionality and comfort. To achieve this, he gets a new design, fresh and sporty, reflecting the undeniable DNA of SEAT. The surface language has been accented even more in a way that gives a more sculpted, exciting and aerodynamic look.
It combines elegance and style, but never gives up its dynamic character. The new Ibiza certainly brings an increase in SEAT’s customer base and enhances the image of the brand, making it more ambitious thanks to its unmistakable qualities with a rounded and powerful design that ensures that the car is perfectly on the road.
