Many have said that the Taurus will be removed from the US market and we tend to agree. This does not mean that the name will disappear completely. There is a Taurus built in China based on the CD4 platform. On top of that, it seems that because of the low sales volume, Ford could import this model at one time or another and launch it on the US market under the name of 2020 Ford Taurus. This move would not only allow them to build other cars at the Chicago assembly plant, as the all-electric model E rumor.
The overall design of the 2020 Ford Taurus resembles the new Lincoln Continental. It measures one hundred and ninety-six inches in length and seventy-three inches in width. It has four doors and an impressive front. The front has a trapezoidal grille, fog lights and LED headlights. There are two exhaust pipes at the rear and a panoramic glass roof at the top. The 20-inch aluminum wheels are other outstanding features of outdoor makeup.
Standard OS features include 18 “composite wheels, programmed headlights, coordinated blind side mirrors, LED taillights, keyless keypad on exterior, aeration and cooling system, seats forward to six directions and a lumbar change. 60/40 split folding rear seats, recumbent and reclining guide wheel, rear view camera, Sync voice commands, Bluetooth phone and sound availability, 4.2-inch show, and six-speaker sound frame speakers with CD player, a help sound info jack and two USB ports. Venturing up the SALT pad includes LED accent lights in the lower front waistband, heated body shading mirrors, climb stop sensors, a remote start, a programmed atmosphere control Double zone, upholstery and interior trim rev auto darkening mirror and satellite radio.
We are sure that the 2020 Ford Taurus will have a 2.0-liter four-cylinder or 2.7-liter V6 bi-turbo engine, so there is no reason for the US version not to get the same engine under the hood. There are also predictions that the new Taurus could get a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, with better features. Whatever the engine, it must be associated with the nine-speed automatic transmission. The base model will be driven on the front wheels, while there should be trims with the AWD system, too.
The new 2020 Ford Taurus will appear for acquisition in the second half of 2018. The cost for the basic variant will be $ 28,000, while the price versions will likely cost a lot more.
